Fonts 
Use
the same font throughout your entire site for your text. It will give
it a distinct look with a feeling of continuity. And pick a font that's
easy to read on a monitor. Which font is easy to read?
This
font is NOT easy to read. This font is a serif font: Times, Times New
Roman. Stick with a san-serif font: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica.

In
case you can't read the above, here's what it says. Type appears smaller
on a Macintosh than it does on a PC. It can look like the above. If
you've chosen a type-size that's borderline-too-small for your PC, it
WILL be unreadable on a Mac. And not everyone knows how to make the
necessary adjustments to increase the type-size in their browser. Next
