John Canaan is the original voice of Michael McLean’s You're Not Alone, which went out to millions on the Bounce Back tape and other Michael McLean CDs.   You might also know John for his intermountain regional #1 hit  What If I Loved You?, John voice has also been featured on the male vocals on the Together Forever Video, Let Him Heal Your Heart and His Love on the “Best of EFY" CD, Come Unto Him and Our Father's Plan (on seminary videos), the Carpenter’s Son on one of Orin Hatches and Janice Kapp Perry's recent CDs and Adam-ondi-ahman (along with 3 other songs) on When Earth Met Heaven.  Most recently, John has been heard on the air again with the title song to his new CD If Not Love.  John has a unique ability to instill a sense of perspective, humor and love into the hearts of his listeners. His personal mission is, through music and ideas, to invite encouragement, hope and peace into the lives of his listeners.  John is particularly known for his special concert presentations for couples.  His music and thoughts on this subject are stirring and healing.
